How working cattle shaped my view on integrity and hard work

It was my job at 14 years of age to have the cattle in the back alley sorted and ready to go to the sale ring period. My dad gave me one rule, and that was to always have cattle ready to go into the sale ring period. One of my greatest motivators in life today is that he has stressed, “Keep moving, even if it's wrong, keep moving. Whatever you do, you keep moving.”
